Andrew Desjardins, a forward for the Chicago Blackhawks and native of Lively, Ontario, brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown on Monday, July 13th. Desjardins, who won his first Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks this year, shared the trophy with his family, friends, and the community at a celebration held at the Lively Arena.

"It's an amazing feeling to bring the Stanley Cup back to Lively," said Desjardins. "I'm so proud of this community and I'm so grateful for all the support I've received over the years." Desjardins' hometown celebration included a parade, a meet-and-greet with fans, and a fireworks display.
